Privacy Policy

Audvoyz ("Audvoyz", "we", "us") makes audio ads, Reels and related content for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers audvoyz.com, your Audvoyz account page, and the services we provide to you.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

Contact and business details: your name, business name, email, phone number, address, hours, website and social handles, and anything you write to us.
Materials for your ads: flyers, photos, logos, videos, music, scripts, notes, and requests for changes. Videos may show you, your staff or your customers.
Voice recordings: if you choose to have ads in your own voice, the recordings you upload or make on our site.
Billing details: your plan, add-ons and payment history. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor, Stripe, and never reach our servers.

Information collected automatically:

One first-party cookie that counts unique visits to our website, and, for our own staff, a cookie that keeps them signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Basic technical information our hosting provider logs to keep the service running and secure, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

2. Voice recordings and voice copies (biometric information)

If you choose ads in your own voice, we may use your recordings to create an AI copy of your voice (a "voice model") with our voice provider, ElevenLabs. A voice model can be a biometric identifier under laws such as the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act. We therefore:

Create a voice model only after you, the person whose voice it is, give consent. Our reading passage opens with a spoken consent statement, and we keep a record of it.
Use your voice recordings and voice model only to make ads and content for the business you approved, and for no other person or purpose.
Never sell, lease or trade your voice recordings or voice model, and never disclose them except to the service providers that create and store them for us, or where the law requires.
Store them with the same care we use for other confidential information.
Let you delete your voice model and all your voice recordings yourself, at any time, with the "Delete my voice" button on your account page. Deletion happens immediately. If our voice provider can't be reached at that moment, we finish within 24 hours and don't use your voice in the meantime. You can also ask us, and we'll delete them within 30 days. If you don't ask, we delete them within one year after the reason we collected them ends, for example one year after your account closes.

3. How we use information

To make, revise and deliver your ads, Reels and other content.
To run your account: delivering files, handling requests and approvals, and sending service messages.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To respond to free-sample requests and messages, and to follow up about our services.
To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
To improve our service, using overall, non-identifying statistics such as visit counts.

We feature your ads as samples on our website only with your permission.

4. Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run Audvoyz, under contracts that limit how they can use it:

Anthropic: AI that reads flyers and writes scripts.
ElevenLabs: AI voices, music, and voice models when you choose your own voice.
Stripe: payments and billing.
Render: hosting and storage for our website and files.
Telegram: a messaging tool our staff may use to produce ads during in-person visits.
Google Fonts: loads the fonts on our pages; Google receives your IP address when fonts load.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. How long we keep information

Account information, materials and finished ads: while your account is active, and deleted within 90 days after it closes unless you ask us to keep your ads available.
Voice recordings and voice models: see section 2.
Free-sample and contact requests: up to two years.
Payment and tax records: as long as the law requires, usually up to seven years.

6. Your choices and rights

You can see and update your business details on your account page at any time. You can also ask us to send you a copy of your information, correct it, or delete it. You can delete your voice model and recordings yourself from your account page. Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have additional rights. That includes the right to appeal if we decline a request: write to us with "Appeal" in the subject line. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restrict access to our systems, and limit what our providers can do with your information. Your account page is reached through a private link: keep it private, and tell us if you think someone else has it so we can issue a new one. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

8. Children

Our service is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If a video you send shows a child, you're responsible for having a parent's or guardian's permission (see our Terms of Use).

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll let account holders know before they take effect.
